Constructed Wetland Solutions
SRS's work in nature-based wastewater treatment is a key part of its environmental experience.
A nature-based approach to wastewater treatment
SRS developed Pakistan's first Constructed Wetland Module for biological wastewater treatment and recycling in Shaheed Benazirabad.
Constructed wetlands use natural processes to support wastewater treatment and can create opportunities for treated water reuse.
SRS has also worked on the Pakistan Navy Constructed Wetland in Karachi and has provided technical support related to constructed wetland approaches.

Building a stronger evidence base
As project records are consolidated, this page can be expanded with project locations, beneficiaries, implementation dates, outputs, outcomes, photographs, reports and partner information. This helps visitors understand not only what SRS has done, but what changed as a result.
