Sindhica Reforms Society (SRS) is a non-profit, nonsectarian environmental protection organization in Pakistan. SRS works with communities and partners on environmental conservation, sustainable development, water and sanitation, livelihoods, health, and humanitarian initiatives.
SRS has been working since 1993, with a focus on practical community-based approaches to environmental protection, sustainable development, and social support.
SRS works across several interconnected areas, including water conservation, wastewater treatment and recycling, sanitation and hygiene, environmental conservation, afforestation and ecosystem restoration, renewable and alternative energy, sustainable livelihoods, healthcare, and disaster and humanitarian response.
SRS works with communities, civil society organizations, development partners, government agencies, donors, technical experts, and other organizations that share an interest in sustainable development and community-focused solutions.
SRS is based in Shaheed Benazirabad, Sindh, Pakistan, and has implemented community and environmental initiatives in Pakistan. Its work and partnerships may extend to wider national and international networks where relevant.
SRS currently reports 97 completed sustainable development projects across areas including water and sanitation, environmental conservation, livelihoods, renewable energy, healthcare, and humanitarian response.
Constructed wetlands are nature-based systems designed to treat wastewater through natural biological and physical processes. SRS has developed and promoted constructed wetland solutions for wastewater treatment and recycling, including a pioneering constructed wetland initiative in Shaheed Benazirabad.
